A collection of random crap that doesn't fit in elsewhere on the site. Pics, little-known facts about the game, anything. If you've got something (preferably Claw-related) send it to me via email.

As some nonsense trivia, the first four rosettes on the Contest page ( ) all come from the game. The fifth () I numbered and coloured myself as the game only has four rosettes.

woohoo from Russia owns two boxed versions of Claw, one licensed and one pirated, and has scanned them for our viewing convenience.

He is also willing to trade both of these one US version of Claw, complete with its original box. If you're willing to trade, you can reach him through the thread on Topdogg's forum (link section). Also, if anyone has box scans of the US or Polish versions of the game, please email them to me. The boxed version of Claw is as rare as dinosaur eggs. =S

Here are the old Claw Forum comics that were made about a year ago. Mr Cat did them, so don't expect them to make any sense.

The incident with the crabs.

Treasurer's made an interesting discovery in relation to Gabriel. If you get up next to him (there's some catnip in the warp not far from the boss fight, or you could cheat for it) you can pick him up and throw him. It damages him a bit, and he also freezes until you hit him again. Throw him into the water, and he dies instantly, you can beat him without losing any health at all.

Here's something only a true fan would appreciate: the unofficial Claw story. It's a detailed fan-fiction of Claw's early years and how he came to be fighting the dogs. It's incomplete, the author gave up after writing three chapters, but it's really well-written and worth checking out.

I have no idea who wrote it.

By typing stuff into Google I've discovered a bit of old Claw art. Heaven knows how long they've been floating around the web. The first one is by Keith the Cat, the other two are by Freya.

What's the maximum score possible to achieve in Claw? 99,999,900. That's the equivalent of 3999 skulls, 1 crown, 1 scepter, 1 ring, and 9 coins. If you collect anything more (even just a single coin to push it over to 100 billion) the game will crash, regardless of your system setup.

Did you know that seagulls can still see you with invisibilty? Also, hermit crabs can be picked up and thrown like regular enemies.

Not only that, but Treasurer has pointed it out ot me through email that Redtail Pirates will continue to fight after you've killed them! If you keep on slashing with your sword and hitting them they'll strike back as they fall off the screen. They fall so fast it's impossible to take damage from one, however.

Hehe, perhaps we're underestimating Claw's popularity. :) This was posted at the Blood forum a while ago.
